Awesome Zoo! They go out of there way to make the animals here happy, also do an excellent job at mimicking their natural habitats. During the day there are several different shows and exhibits to see. The staff are always very knowledgeable and friendly. I keep a membership and visit year round as they have many special events throughout the year such as Wild Lights, and Boo At The Zoo. Only down side is during the summer months the zoo can become very crowded.

This zoo is great! You really feel like you're on a fun animal adventure. The people posted by the animals are very kind and knowledgeable. They will answer all your questions and have fun facts too. There are always cool things going on. We love this place!

My family always visits the zoo anytime we go on vacation. This is one of our new favorites. The exhibits all had plenty of animals, and most of them allowed you to get up pretty close. I liked that they were pretty evenly spaced so that you didn't have long stretches of walking without anything to see. There's a pretty big play area near the Congo area that our kids enjoyed (and us, so we could sit in the shade!). Our favorite exhibits were the polar bears where you could go underwater and watch them swim, and the watering hole in Africa where they exhibit different animals. We were just in time to see the cheetah run, and it was amazing! Something my 6yo will remember for a long time!

Amazing place to hangout with family and friends. Kids will love it. Clean and safe environment for family outing. Try to visit when weather is nice and not too hot. Food options are available at several places with in the zoo. I love the way they have segregated this zoo in to different continents. Pretty well organized and volunteers will give you all the information that you might be looking for. Must visit place if you are in Columbus for few days or you live here.

we drove all the way from Savannah, Georgia just to see the polar bears. They were the best part! Zoo was very clean, staff was super friendly and helpful. We go to lots of zoos and this was by far the best bang for your buck. Admission and food/drinks were so much cheaper than expected! Loved our time there!
